With the Easter break just around the corner I thought I’d let you know the workshop opening times.
As you might already know, I run the workshop on my own, but do have occasional help.
I believe family time is very important, therefore I will be closing the workshop over the easter period.
I know it can be frustrating when a shop closes for a short period of time, but I hope it does not cause too much frustration.
The workshop will close at 5:00pm on Thursday 29th March 2018
Opening again
9:00am on Wednesday 4th April 2018
I will be working flat out to complete all orders taken.
Unfortunately I can not guarantee orders taken from the 26th of March 2018 will be ready for collection before I close for the easter break.
Thank you for your understanding.
Wishing you a Happy Easter.
Best wishes
Dave

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who have kindly donated a Christmas gift at my workshop for the Metro Radio – Mission Christmas Appeal.
I would like to extend a special thank you to the employees at BAE Systems in Washington, Tyne and Wear for their substantial contribution to the appeal.
As I write this post, Mission Christmas is incredibly close with only 10,986 presents needed to hit the target of 47,500 gifts. The final date to drop off your gift at B&M or Wickes Stores is Sunday 17th December 2017.
Your generosity and kindness has really been overwhelming.
Once again Thank you for your support.
Christmas is fast approaching and I would like to make you aware of Framing Unlimited’s Christmas holiday details.
The workshop will close at 5:00pm on Friday 22nd December 2017
Opening again from 9:00am on Monday 8th January 2018
If you have any items you would like framing before I close on the 22nd December, they must be dropped off at the workshop no later than the 15th December 2017.
Any orders I receive after this date can not be guaranteed to be ready in time for Christmas.
As you can imagine it’s a very busy time of year and the sooner you can get your items to me for framing the better.
It’s been another fantastic year for Framing Unlimited and I thank you for your continued business.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Kindest regards – Dave
David is a very talented local artist/illustrator who lives in County Durham.
A family friend who I’ve framed a number of items for, enquired about displaying some of David’s artwork in my workshop. I am a big believer in promoting local artists work and where possible display them in my workshop. I agreed to meet David to look at his work.
David popped into the workshop earlier this week with some examples of his work. I immediately agreed to display his fantastic artwork and promote it on my website, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn social media feeds.
Do you know someone who is fanatical about gaming? If you do then I’m sure you will be aware that many of the console games have limited edition versions. Some I have seen are simply amazing!
With Christmas just around the corner so why not have them framed. They make stunning pieces of Art.
These games often cost a small fortune and end up tucked away in a draw.
Get them framed and up on the wall! Its more affordable than you might think.
Gears of War is a video game franchise created and originally owned by Epic Games, developed and managed by The Coalition, and owned and published by Microsoft Studios.
It’s been weeks or maybe even months since I’ve posted any images of my recent work. There are 2 reasons for this;
Firstly – Its been a crazy busy couple of months in the workshop (not that I’m complaining about that) and I simply have not had chance to get onto my computer to write any posts.
Secondly – I’m not one to boast about my work. I think the quote below sums this up perfectly. If I were to add to it, I’d say “my work speaks for itself”.
I understand how frustrating it can be when you visit a local store, only to find its closed for the day!
As you might already know my workshop is run solely by myself. Lisa often helps out by opening the workshop when Im unable to. However on this occasion Lisa also has other commitments, therefore my workshop will be closed on Saturday 28th September 2017 due to my own family commitments.
I have been working tirelessly to ensure all your items that were due for collection on the Saturday 28th October will be ready to collect from 11:00am on the 27th October.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Did you take part in the world famous Simplyhealth Great North Run 2017?
If you did, then a massive congratulations on your fantastic achievement.
You were part of the biggest and best Half Marathon in the world.
Be proud of it and boast about it! You’ve got the medal to prove it.
I am proud to say that I completed the Half marathon along side my wife Claire.
Claire continues to amaze me with her strength, grit and pure determination in events like the Simplyhealth Great North Run.
I’ve framed our medals, along with a picture of us at the finish line. I’m proud to say we completed the 13.1 mile course along with the other 43,125 competitors. The frame will be taking pride of place with Claire’s other medals on our wall at home.
Framing Unlimited strive to keep up with current trends. Listening to my customers feedback is key. I act upon your suggestions where possible.

Keep an eye out for the launch
