Keeping you in the picture
Well what a year its been so far!
I really do hope you’re all keeping safe and well through these uncertain times.
I think It is fair to say it’s been an especially difficult year for everyone.
There is however light at the end of this dark tunnel.
Workshop
Re-opening
I, like many other small business owners watched the Prime Ministers press conference on Monday the 5th April 2021 announcing that stage 2 of the easing of restrictions will happen.
I was delighted to hear that the non-essential retail sector can re-open on the 12th of April 2021, all thanks to the vaccine rollout and the general publics adherence to the Governments guidelines/restrictions.
Keeping you safe whilst in my workshop is my top priority. I have completed an extensive risk assessment to ensure my workshop is COVID secure.
Please take a minute or two to see what procedures will be in place here
Orders placed
pre-lockdown.
The 3rd lockdown has really affected the way my business runs.
As a non essential service provider and with the enforcement of non essential travel, I have not been receiving framing supplies. Its has also prevented me from offering a “Click – Collect – Deliver Service as I did in previous lockdowns.
I hold a limited amount of framing stock, which saw me through the Christmas period. Glass delivery has been the most problematic. The shortage of glass in the run up to Christmas (due to a backlog at the ports) has had a knock on effect into the new year.
Delivery of framing supplies will commence from the 15th of April and I will be in touch later this week (via text or telephone call) to let individuals know when they are able to collect their frames. I can only apologies for any delay during the lockdown and as we come out of it.
New orders placed from the 12th of April 2021
As some of you may already know, I work alone. With this in mind, I am expecting to be very busy once the workshop re-opens. I usually offer a 7 day turnaround for framing, this will now be extended to 10 to 14 days. I will of course be in touch if I’m able to complete your framing quicker.
I kindly ask that payment be made by cash, debit or credit card when placing your order.
